Ann

My guess is that photopost site has set the photo forum up to prevent viewing from other web sites EXCEPT they have opened up "pipes" to particular domains. That way they are managing their bandwidth and preventing unlimited bandwidth "stealing". They open "pipes" to sites they want to get custom from.

Just a guess at this stage. Will try something tommorrow night. Can you PM or email me with the sites where you have posted the photos and where they worked. Thanks.

For now I have created a couple of links where the photos can be viewed. Some nice venison.

OK Ann got them to work.

When posting a photo which you have uploaded onto a PhotoPost site, there maybe a Photo URL reference displayed in the reference information underneath eg as in the Michigan site. Copy and paste that Photo URL into the forums here utting the http:// reference in between a [image] and [/image] UBB code. Or copy the reference and click on image belwo in the instant UBB code and paste it into the dialogue box that appears.

What do you do with the antlers from a stag like this? Do you intend to get it mounted or a European board type skull cap mount?

Good compostion in your photos.

Hi Ann,

Nice buck, congrats on the bowkill! How many bucks are you guys allowed per year? Here in PA we can take multiple does, as many as we have tags for, but we are allowed 1 buck only per year.

I have my eye on a real nice brute that I have been after for the past week. Hopefully I can get him and post some pictures. I have had several nice shooters in range but I have passed on them because I want the "big boy". Our season lasts until mid November so there is still plenty of time. In the mean time I will continue to harvest does for meat. I will have to post my jerky rscipe for everyone. It makes a great hunting snack!

IronB,

We can take two bucks but one has to be 4 points on one side or better. I never shoot anything less than 6 points and have never had an 8 or better come in. Michigan has a brown it's down attitude and people shoot all the dumb young ones. Does can be fairly unlimited in some areas.

I let a doe go last night. Not ready to kill again, like watching them. I called her in with the grunt tube. Was hoping for a big boy..... Will try again this evening. I got my heavy climber out and will try it today. I am putting it near the front of the property where I can safely leave it with out fear of theft.

John,

Thanks, I will try that method of posting.

I will do a cimple skull mount of this deer. I will probably put him in my office at work. He is smaller than the 6 point (antlers) I got last year but plenty of meat.
