RLI

I believe that these are assembled and finished in England but somewhere in my head it says they are made on the Continent. Germany perhaps?

I have looked at a couple at SCI and on the surface they seem to be nicely done. Traditional British design / Chopper lump barrels and a Webley or copy action. I think they would be a much better investment than a Merkle or Krieghoff or Searcy.

Personnaly I would look for a used Brit for the same money but you must be careful and know what you are looking at or have someone check it out for you. I am not sure where you are located but there are bargains everywhere if you are patient.

Mick,
Thanks for the info, I have since found out that the receiver was made in Holland, Barrels Germany, All other parts and stock England and regulated and proofed in England either Birmingham or London proof house. They look better than Merkel or Kreighoff. They where made in .375H&H .470NE and a few in .500 . I know 2 owners who say they are a great rifle and 1 has been to Zim. and used it on Cape Buff.
