More Sitka Blacktails

I enjoy this board for the fact that so many people here are from so many different parts of the world, and I like seeing all the pictures and posts of other places.

In that spirit, I thought I'd drop a few more pictures of bucks we took lately. I took 4 weeks off and spent a lot of time in the woods..

Congratulations on the four point. It looks like he was all rutted up. Can you rattle them in or is it spot and stalk?

I don't have enough patience to put in the time rattling, though others report that it pays off.

Spot and stalk is my favorite....a pair of Zeiss Classic 10x40's and a Leup with elevation turret atop a decent rifle are all the tools one needs to hunt the clearcuts.

We didn't get any real big bucks this year, but we mangaged to take 3 3x3's and a 4x3.
