Yes, but you can get a swirl effect in the shot
- you can see it if you pattern it on paper.

Some Holland Paradox's don't always
shoot shot that well.

Some early rifled chokes in the US were originally designed as 'spreader' chokes for shot pellets, long before the sabot craze.
