Does anyone know of any culling / Problem Animal Control opportunities in Africa or elsewhere? Also where can I look to find these hunts?

Search the web and SCI Magazines for Outfitters.
Contact them by email so you get on the email lists
Specifically tell them you are after culling opportunities
And be ready able to go at short notice - cheap elephanta and buffalo culls don't last long.
I get emails every year about end of season culls and other hunting opportunities (ie cancelled hunts).
You just need to get your name out and about so people know you are in the market.

Matt Graham of Hunt Australia offers cull hunts where you may well burn out your barrel in a few days from the sounds of the cull hunts.
Not Africa of course, but the NT, for donkeys, pigs, scrub cattle, camels etc.
I will see if I can post the email info here. You can contact Matt on the LINKS section in the Australian Hunting Outfitters Links forum under Hunt Australia.
(edited to add the Hunt Australia LINK forum page)

PS I have also invited a resident South African PH that might be able to help you.

I had this same discussion yesterday with someone except I said the trophy fee was $4000 for a PAC Elephant.

If you are looking for Africa, specifically, I often get some around this time of year. These are generally unsold quota or cull animals that have become problems. Some of these hunts will require a hunter to be able to fly out immediately which few people are actually able to do in most cases. I usually have hunters contact me for such hunts and then they are unable to fly when the hunt comes in, thus a good price and a good opportunity are lost!
Africa now is hot and potentially some rain. But the hunting will be good.

Had a hippo about a week ago- US$4000 all incl. (SA) I also have a special package for 6 hunters, 90 springbok, 18 blesbok, 6 black springbok, 6 mtn reedbuck, all incl for 7 days US$17500 for all 6 hunters. Some PAC (problem animal control) animals do become available in SA, Nam and Zim from time to time. However, as it has to be delt with urgently (normally), it is difficult for non African hunters to do these. If you are very mobile, and can be in Africa within at most a week from notice, send me an email to karl@huntingsafaris.net , and I will let you know asa having something available.
