Remington 1889 10 guage.

Decided to test some paper 10 ga shells that I've had for years. They smelled terrible. Nothing like nitro and even worse than black powder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gzhWYmvEjU&ab_channel=MikeHarrell

Pretty serious looking shotgun.

Casper- your gun appears to pattern them tighter than mine.

I shot some 1 7/8oz.(I think) paper shells in my AYA 10 bore on the patterning board.
They were 2 7/8" long, iirc. and patterned beautiful modified patters of 66% from both bores that were choked a VERY tight full.

I'll make a pattern board and see what they do.

Nice old gun Casper. I note you only cocked one hammer at a time, are you wary of it 'doubling' or did you just shoot it that way for the video?

I've tried it since with both hammers cocked and it works fine. Being a 10 ga the hammers are just far enough apart and the spring is strong enough that it makes cocking both at once a problem. Can't do it fast enough that it would work on a flush.
