Spent a week in the pacific , Kiritimati. Great crew and guides with some awesome flats fishing. Weather was okay but high winds made for challenging casting. Unreal trip.

I'd always thought the crab flies were for bones at least in the Bahamas.

Had a large bone take a crab fly presented to a trigger fish, on about the third short strip absolutely smashed, pulled at the surgeon knot................
Fished large squimp flies on the last day and caught larger bones.
