My collection of user firearms is growing, from the great gunmakers.
- Jeffery - my .450 no.2 NE double rifle. - 16-bore Jeffery side by side shotgun game gun. "New" last week. - Westley Richards 10-bore double rifle, 1879. - Cogswell and Harrison .500 blackmpowder express double rifle. Safe queen
Others - Martini-Henry .577/450 Rosier, approx 1870? - Martini-Cadet .297/250 - Martini-Cadel .222R - SMLE .303 No.1 MkIII full wood, matching numbers, WW1 or early 1920s - SMLE .303 No.1 MkIII cut back - Greener Empire E17 12-bore side by side - Parker Hale 1200 Delux M98 .30-06 custom re-stocked - Whitworth M98 .375 H&H Magnum
- 12-bore Hollis hammer Damascus barrelled side by side
I'm still Rigby-less. Must remedy that, a .275? And lacking a Purdey. A shotgun would be nice.
What's your collection?
Colin's/Ahmed's collection would be impressive.
Edit: Redefined the list. The prestigious Brit brands are the main interest.,

My only Brit gun is a George Gibbs 1893 Steyr in 6.5x53R. I got a 7-point buck with it last year!

From memory, so probably missing a few.
Double rifles * Woodward 500BPE hammer double rifle, Jones underlever * Dickson 500BPE " " " * Dickson 450BPE " " " * GE Lewis 360BPE " " " * Alexander Henry 450BPE " " " * EM Reilly 450BPE " " " * Watson Bros 360BPE boxlock double on a Webley screw-grip action * Purdey self-opening sidelock double 450/400 - inbound
Single rifles * Martini Cadet, original condition, 310 Cadet * Greener takedown martini, higher grade, tang peep - 22 hornet * Greener martini, prewar scope, 22LR * Francotte martini (British adjacent?) 22 hornet * BSA martini, higher grade target rifle - 22LR * Tranter double-patent rifle by Cogswell & Harrison - inbound - 450EX of some stripe...TBD * Alexander Henry falling block, takedown - 360BPE * Westley Richards martini, takedown - 300 Sherwood * Dickson best-grade rook, 297/250
Double guns * Greener G-grade 10ga double * Two FH35 Greener doubles in 12 gauge (this is a step forward, as there were 3 previously) * C.S. Rosson boxlock, cased, in 12ga - my first English sporting gun * William Ford high-grade chamberless 10ga waterfowler, cased. Proofed for 3.25" inch brass cases, 2.25oz shot * William Ford 10ga boxlock, standard proofs
Other * Sporting percussion rifle, English, ~1850 * Parker Hale Enfield rifle, 2 band, .577, Modern
And then a mix of non-sporting guns: military Webley revolvers, an SMLE, and a L1A1. There's more commonwealth stuff, but this is the English/Scottish cohort. There's also the bits for a Bren gun, but that's unlikely to be ever completed as a US-legal semiautomatic.
But hey, I can stop any time I want to. Really. This isn't an addiction.

3DogMike: I think I saw your 1882 Rigby. That is a special gun. I’m not a hammer gun shotgun guy, but a rising bite hammer gun is rare.
Huvius: I’m glad you decided to part with the Holland-Woodward. Hopefully it comes back from stocking in August.
For me, my wife keeps the disease under control:
Double Rifles: Purdey 450/400 3.25” bpe completed Aug 1895; standard Purdey self opener top lever Fraser 303 completed in 1898; Fraser patent boxlock
Single shots: Fraser 400/360 sidelever made around 1902 Holland Woodward 500/450 nitro built in 1906
Bolt Action Rigby 7x57 take-down built in 1903
Double shotguns (too many) Dickson RA 12 gauge built in 1898 Dickson RA 12 gauge built in 1901 Dickson RA 20 gauge built in 1896
H&H Royal 16 gauge built in 1911 H&H Royal 12 gauge 2” built in 1936
Westley Richards 12 gauge detachable lock built in 1928 Westley Richards 12 gauge sidelock built in 1987 Westley Richards 12 gauge 2” boxlock built in 1937
Henry Atkin 12 gauge Purdey style self opener built in 1959 Rigby 12 gauge rising bite forward lever snap action built in 1883

I am wondering if less is more at times.
When the bug first hit I bought every double rifle I found that met my limits on spending and was at least at or above a certain quality and appearance. Same cycle as 35 years ago when I started collecting surplus military bolt guns - first phase was high in numbers, later phase was high in rarity or a top shooting rifle. With these sporting guns, I'm transitioning to the second phase. So the count will go down.
