Once again hardly anyone seems to be interested in the topic, despite the fact that it is an important topic for hunters, big game hunters or not and with Nitro Express cartridges or not.

Actually nothing new if you take Robertson's manual The Perfect Shot as a reference. Nevertheless, good reminder of important points.

I was quite surprised on some of them. I'd have shot the last croc in the spine, not the brain. Most of the others, I had well inside the heart, except a little low on the buffalo.
I found the video very well done and especially for someone going to Africa.
The bears were good too, but with them, instead of heart, I'd be breaking them down, not so much a black bear, but especially the griz. Both shoulders/front legs broadside - done. the ctg. choice for them, bit big for black bear, spot-on for griz, although an '06 or even a well loaded 6mm will do it easily on most B Bears, there are some outsized monsters in Eastern USA and on Haida Gwaii - well over 700pounds.
Around here, a huge one might run 400.
Reminds me, my .45 cal. SamYang air rifle is legal for black bear here. I would, however never try it on one except on a very small 'eating size' 150 pound 2 or 3yr. old "cub".
Then again, would you walk through the bush here with an air rifle looking for a black bear? - LOL.

I could not watch the whole video. @ 1:15 the guy has both fingers in the trigger guard on a double trigger rifle, shortly thereafter someone shoots a non disturbed grizzly bear in the front leg. Please tell me why I should continue to watch this video.

I watched it to learn something about kill zones on African animals. I was also interested in the Author's "take" on bears and their vitals. I saw no problems there. I suspect he wasn't the one doing the shooting, and was using other people's video clips.
I saw what you are talking about, including the fingers(shown twice) however the second time, it looked like he was ready to pull the rear trigger with middle finger, with forefinger posed to pull the front one if needed. Now, some people do pull the rear trigger first so I had to give him leeway that perhaps that is what he was doing. ALL shooting doesn't go 100%, 100% of the time - well, it does, but only when I or my buddy Keith are doing the shooting.

I noticed that too, but I assumed he knows what he is doing. By the way, both barrels of my DR caliber 577 Nitro Express once fired at the same time, which is why I would be more careful at his place. Despite everything one can watch the video.

At 1:16 , 1 minute 16 seconds, look at the double rifle shooters trigger finger position.

Is he using a two finger trigger pull? Or planning to use the middle finger and not the usual one?

It looks like he's going to use a different finger for each trigger at the same time?

Maybe he has practice with this sort of thing, but I would never do that.

Maybe if your index trigger finger is disabled or injured for some reason, otherwise very ludicrous. Same as a two finger, two trigger pull. Ludicrous.

I have to watch the rest of the video. Tried several times, trying again.

Funny thing, is how fingers and thumbs are numbered and also used. Eg counting by fingers. Americans and Europeans often number their fingers differently. And count by their fingers differently. Either use the thumb first 5o count. Or the index finger first.

Try it. Any reading. What do you instinctively do?

You should not forget the recoil of some big bore double rifles. It's advisable to have not too many fingers in the trigger guard.

We're all aware of having too many fingers inside the guard on two or three trigger (not often) guns. I tried it when a kid, with my Baikal 12 bore O/U
and got a bad cut in the middle finger(back trigger) from the back if the front trigger. It was rather sharp and cut right to the bone above the first knuckle.
That's never happened a second time. I "pull" only with the index (first) finger.

The guy is pretty obviously going to use a different finger for each trigger. Possibly at the same time. From the way it looks.

Saw the "two finger" thing right away as well. Seems to me a great way to goof and double or at least cut a finger.
Likely the shooter was never as a young boy brought up with double trigger SxS bird guns? Not many would be these days.
What I also noticed was the apparent poor shot placement on some those videos. Nerves, haste, lack of practice?

Otherwise I thought it was a petty informative video.
