Hello from dreary Kansas I am seriously considering a Merkel combination gun. The shot barrel is chambered 2 1/2 inch 12ga, are shot and slug loads available in the USA? Thanks Mike
Hull trimmers are quite available as-are roll crimping dies for use with electric drill or a drill press. My Ponsness Warren 12 bore press loads 2 1/2" just fine, with Black Powder, shot and wads. I use a roll crimper die with my drill press for crimping them.

+1 to what Daryl said. I load my own round ball and conical 12 bore 2 1/2" rifle loads the same way. Lee loader then roll crimper. - Mike
