begginings of a knife for a 14 year old

Hi everyone,
thought i´d post a couple of pics of a new projekt i´m working on.
the knife is going to a very good friends 14yo son.
the blade is out of Aeb_L, 225 mm total with a sharp bit 105mm. 3mm thick
scales will be out of masurbirch

Full sized tang - very nice, strong skinning and General Purpose knife.

14 year old lad, soon to be a man!
That will last him a life time if he looks after it, even long enough to hand it to his grandson when he comes of age!

Well-done.

A custom knife at such an age should be a treasure.

Add something personal, to it's decorations.
