My Schoenauer collection on display.

Had some tables at the Alaska Gun Collectors gun show in Anchorage this weekend. Won $100 for the display. Don't know how really. Need to work on the display more I guess.

I need to find a 1924 MS Sequoia to complete my collection then I'll just upgrade as I find better ones.

Sorry to be a bother, but the writing is a bit difficult to see, can you elaborate the model numbers please for each rifle please for us dills who aren't MS literate?

The one that isn't there yet is my 1956 .458 MS. Still in South Africa. And I'm still looking for a Model 1924 Sequoia.

Very nice. All of the proprietary MS chamberings and more.

Is that a replacement forend pin in your M1900 Take Down Model or a 'modified' original? The 'special folding peep sight' is nice, a fitted case would really complete it.

but being the mannlicher that get the schönauer magazin. its like the same car with another gearbox.

Neither is the M95 straight-pull rifle. In fact, it is the only true Mannlicher in the collection. All the “Mannlicher – Schoenauers” are a combination of Louis Schlegelmilch’s M88 turning bolt action and Otto Schoenauer’s rotary magazine. No feature of the “Mannlicher – Schoenauer” action was designed by Ferdinand von Mannlicher.

Very nice collection. Thanks for sharing. I have assembled my own collection. They are wonderful firearms.Old school classy.

Entirely true and accurate.

The title of the thread, however, is "My Schoenauer collection on display".

I own several Jeeps. If I had titled a thread "My Dana / Spicer T90 collection on display" and included an image of my (titled as) 1946 hot rod flat fendered Willys CJ which has a four speed GM gearbox, that image would be an outlier. With additional reference it may be appropriate, but it is not an "Dana / Spicer T90" equipped vehicle. The same would be true if I had included an image of my recently acquired WW2 Willys MB which has its original T84 gearbox.

Not 'hating on' Casper's post, mind you, he has shared some fine MS with us and all and is on a noble quest. I am more than a wee bit envious of his M1900 Take Down Model.

The 'topper' would be a 'pre war' MS in 10.75X68!
