Nice video. Good to see.
Do you find any difference resting the forend on the rest compared to your resting it on your hand? I've never tested it myself.
I think I'd rather shoot it standing. The video shows even this old .500 snaps back nicely.

After I stopped filming I shot a few standing. I'd rather shoot standing but can't really say anything about accuracy until I am able to see the front sight.

Well done Casper! Yes your old girl still has a thump behind her - shame about your eyes & the front sight, bugger!

I bought a plastic quarter size piece of plastic that sticks to glasses via static electricity. It has a very small peep hole in it. It focuses the eye and with it I can see the front sight plainly. It will be a pain when I'm not aiming a rifle since it's partly in your line of sight when looking ahead.

380 grain flat nose bullet from Matts bullets, 58 gr 41982 grains of dacron fill and a 3/4" piece of foam 1/2" in diameter. Use at your own risk.

I had a pair of shooting glasses made with the upper portion of gthe right lens ground as a reading glass thtafocused about 2' or so from my face. That makes a huge difference in shooting. Without these glasses, I am pointing.
