Is anyone hunting in Africa in 2023?

Hunting season is here.

Not hearing of many people hunting Africa these days. Please report and share.

My son is going on plains game hunt in Zim in September, I’d go with him but I have to stay home and take care of my wife (she has Alzheimer’s).

So sad Robert, but needs to be done. My Mom looked after my Dad for 3 years before she could no longer handle the lack of sleep & started failing herself.
Very sad, Such a nasty ailment.

Hello Robert,

best wishes for your wife and you!

.......................................

My son, his godfather and I will visit Namibia (Swakopmund and a hunting farm) in August and maybe collect some plains game for dinner/barbecue on the farm.

best regards
Rolf

Robert, sad you can't go with. But glad your wife is still with you. Best wishes.

Rolf, that sounds like a nice family safari. Good luck with it and take photos.

Thanks John,
Can’t tell you how much this Forum means to me. Nice to have the ability to still “talk hunting and guns” even when I can’t get out as much as I use too.
Robert
