And barrels the right way around.

I find the extra embellishment on a shotgun more acceptable as a shotgun is often carried and used in a more genteel fashion. On the driven pheasants, tweeds, and grassy fields. Grouse from a butt on a hill. Walked up bunnies and hares.

The ducks in the swamps, an older plainer shotgun might be used.

A lovely pair one could dream of owning.
