The parliamentary review into SAs duck season is NOT a good sign for the future. Politicians look for an inquiry or review to support their preconceived biased already made decisions. Under this Labor govt.

And the Liberals under Speirs is not good for hunters. When in govt and the minister he was not supportive of continuing the duck or quail hunting seasons. In the end only the quail season did not go ahead. Speirs, the Liberal opposition leader is NOT a friend of hunters or shooters.

Field and Game Association

FGA branches, members and the wider hunting community have donated to the Field & Game Australia Fighting Fund – and we thank them all wholeheartedly for their generosity.
To date we have raised just over $85,000.
We have many projects and expenditures that are utilising this funding, including:
💲 King's Counsel for revision of the Victorian duck hunting season arrangements – report received and reviewed;
💲 Consultant engaged for six-week block to compile FGA's submissions to the Victorian and South Australian Select Committees into recreational game bird hunting arrangements;
💲 Hotline number and staff to help members with the submissions process;
💲 Videos and promotional package;
💲 Consultations with Australian and international experts;
💲 SA committee representation;
💲 PR consultant;
💲 Advertising;
💲 ... and a few more confidential things we can't mention at this moment!
But we're not done yet.
We'll keep fighting to preserve our cultures and our traditions.
