Beautifully finished rifle but I don't get the idea of the brightish blue colouring of the extractor, retainer, trigger and safety lever. Just a distraction in my eyes. However it is very nice for once to see a low mounted relatively 'compact' scope adorning the rifle. My pet peeve with a lot of these beautifully made old school rifles is the stupidly large and high mounted scopes that owners insist on putting on them.

Blue anodized? extractor, safety lever and trigger are weird, imho. The scope is a lot better than some, but still a little high, I think. Also, the big box magazine is a bit over the top.
Otherwise a beautiful rifle, a take down, too.
I've thought for decades now, that the .425 was a great calibre.

I like the rifle a lot, especially the traditional Westley Richards drop-box magazine. As with Rigby, its great to see new manufacture of vintage-style Brit sporting rifles from the golden days. The makers are to be commended for the undertaking imho. Hope it never ends!

I don't mind the fire-blue extractor so much either, could be considered traditional, but never seen a trigger finished that way. The bolt-release was often fire-blued as well, and I would consider the pattern on this one to be unusual when it could have been blued to match the extractor.

If I had to be critical though, the "smack in the face" serial number placement would not be on my custom order. ...especially the one on top of the bolt-handle!

It is a pretty rifle but doesn't look like one to take hunting. Just a little too froo froo for my taste. Of course, we all have different taste.

Wow - amazing workmanship!
A bit over the top for just a normal safari rifle for me, but with lots of $$$ in your kitty, to buy one of these for a real full blown safari, nothing would be out of the question, especially with gold inlaid serial numbers!
