Is this a replacement stock on this MS 8x60?

This stock does not look anywhere near correct to me. Is it a replacement? It looks like a laminated stock to me.

It's a model 1925. Please, post full length photos too. At least the (Winchester?) buttplate is not original.

Original M1924 were chambered for .30-'06 as ordered by the Sequoia Importing Company for the U.S. market and were marked Sequoia on the barrel ahead of front receiver ring. Many unsold examples, however, were rechambered to other cartridges to appeal to the European market.
