Wanted: 9.5x57 Mannlicher load data

Hi Gang
I should be taking delivery of my 1910 MS early next week. I have been looking for some reload data for this cartridge but I'm not finding much. Load Data lists a few recipes with IMR-3031 and IMR- 4895. Just checking to see if anybody has any other loads to share with a 250 gr bullet.

You could easily use any load for the 9.3x57 & likely increase them by 5 to 10% due to the greater expansion ratio of the larger calibre as well as the 9.5x57 ctg. case which also has greater capacity than the 9.3x57.
Starting with a 9.3x57 load of 48gr. H4895 with the 250gr. bullet would be a good place to start, but it will be fairly light load for your rifle. I used 48gr. in my 9.3x57 with a 270gr. Speer bullet in a model 96 Mauser & it produced only 2,268fps with ZERO expansion of the web of the case from being full length sized.

Sure.
I have been using the same load for years:
47.5 gr AR2206H (=H4895) under the 250gr RNSP (Woodleigh, or the no-longer-available Hornady #3715) for 2210 fps in my rifle.

The same load in my .375 JDJ gives about 50 fps higher velocity with the 250-grainers, but I have recently moved to AR2208 (=Varget) in that cartridge where 50gr AR2208 gives 2295 fps (and makes Group 1 Nitro for BGR competition). Reasonable to assume similar results for the MS 1910 since both my rifles (the Mannlicher Schoenauer and the modified Lee Enfield) should probably be considered ~46,000 psi actions.
But start well below and work up carefully in your rifle, goes without sayin'

Oops! That RNSN Woodleigh and the Hornady #3715 are 270-grainers, not 250gr. But it is 250-grainers I shoot in the poor-man's JDJ.
No wonder the JDJ runs 50 fps higher!

I'm looking for the same... And have about a kilo of VV N160 to play with, and about 100 Woodleigh 270 grain bullets! Time to play with QuickLoad.

Thanks to all for the 9.5 info. I did some searching on NE but the list that Kuduae posted will make life so much easier. I was wondering if 9.3x57 loads could be used. Thanks for answering that question.
I'm going to cast some 250 gr pills tonight or tomorrow. I have a couple different Lee sizing dies that I'm going to experiment with to see if the rifle likes one size over the other.
I really enjoy working up accurate loads for these old rifles.

*For any who may not know, Kuduae is a Saxon Forester and uses an M1910 MS on the job.

Member Sharps4590 loads cast bullets for his 8X56MS (M1908) and may have relevant advice regarding use of cast lead.
