The front sight of the double rifle drilling barrels looks special

I wonder if the front sight is deployable like the rear, and tucks away from sight when the gun barrel is used

could be and because collath was the firm who invented the automatic rear sight that pop up when you activate the rifle barrel ( whats the norm also today)it would make sense.

for the 1935 proofed drilling SN is given as 650 and proof number 178/35, W Collath Söhne Frankfurt A/O D.R. P,
the new barrels also SN 650, proof in Ferlach 190/64

the 24 ga double rifle above


had also No. 3 double gun barrels before but lost in time
