Nice - triple deuce Remington Pump, .25 Remington pump, .250/3000 Mauser Very nice.

That triple deuce .222 or .25 would be fun shooting deer on Graham Island, Haida Gwaii(B.C.)
The only problem is you usually have to drop them in their tracks if out on muskeg. You can't walk (easily) on it, yet they can.

Thanks Daryl.

When I click the photo links, they open with annoying ads above and below the gun photos. Sorry about that, I don't know how to fix it.

I picked up the .222 long ago in a Holts sealed bid sale. It's far from 'stock' with the front and rear sights removed and sling swivels and a recoil pad and scope added, but I've warmed up to the looks. It came to me with a cheap scope. I came across a Brno 511 (581?) with the Ajack on it, so I moved it to the .222 and tossed the cheap one. The Ajack is incredibly bright and clear, probably the best scope I have. I don't know when it was made. The rifle is very heavy, probably about 10 lbs with scope. (I can see why someone added sling swivels).

The Remington .25 would a very handy little weapon for deer if you could get close enough to them. For me, that would be about 100 yards with the peep sight and a tree to hold the rifle against:). I do like the .25 Rem cartridge, both the looks and the performance.

I don't get any adverts using your links. To go direct to the image and get the code, open the image from the link to "display image" or "open the image in a new tab". Too big to display directly.
