Genuine Sheffield (UK) made William Rodgers Commando Knife.

This model is a genuine British MOD Knife All Black. mk3

The original Fairbairn Sykes knife was developed during World War II, when Wilkinson Sword collaborated with Capt. William E Fairbairn and Capt. Eric A Sykes to design a knife for the newly formed British Commando Force. Commonly known as the 'Commando Knife', this knife was arguably the most famous knife of the 20th century.

11 1/2" overall. 6 3/4" black finish stainless dagger blade.
Grooved black cast metal handle with black finish cross guard and pommel.
Cross guard is stamped "William Rodgers". Best Bridle MOD leather belt sheath with metal tip.

There is a fairly thriving market for the Fairbairn Sykes originals here in the USA; don't know about Oz, Canada, or UK as far as legalities of sales or possession.
Good to see a genuine re-issue as opposed to some Chinese or "East Asian" knock off……..
