Looking for a Mauser M03 .222/.223 magazine
      #368898 - 02/09/22 06:36 PM

I'm looking for a replacement .222/.223 Mauser M03 magazine.

An Italian member sourced one for me. But it appeared impossible to ship it post it out of Italy! Thanks for his assistance. I'd say still buying it it's still at the dealer! I'd get it one day. Somehow!

BUT anyone else see one for sale somewhere?

I'd be keen to acquire a replacement. My .222 M03 is a single shot still.

Maybe a gunsmith can put open the magazine and put in a stronger spring. Some other spring. As the old spring is too weak to feed cartridges. Must make it a priority to find a gunsmith to do it.

But if there is a M03 .222/.223 magazine in Sweden. Denmark, USA, Germany ? And are willing to assist? Please let me know.

Members are welcome to help you as well.

I have both, but need them for my 6.5x65. Definitely hanging onto bolt heads. Got one of each. If one ever breaks, it will be a problem.

A .22/250 needs the ST standard bolt head and a F magazine.

Probably wrong bolt head and the wrong magazine for a .22/250.

Mauser is shooting themselves in the foot for not continuing to sell these parts, when there is a demand for them, even if they were/are a bit pricy ,M03 owners still want the barrels ,parts ,maybe some kind of a petition to Mauser from owners ,might make them move their arses.

No doubt lots of retailers list M03 stuff as "out of stock".

My long suffering ever patient friend! If you are willing again, I will get to you on the bid price. Definitely the same or more than the previous one. Have to look it up.

Yumas stuff doesn't need a B709 permit?

BTW it would be wonderful to source these gold plated rare magazines.

5 days or so left on this auction.

My maximum would be similar to the previous price a magazine was acquired for. I'll look it up.

Ten shot .308 magazine. Looks like its after market made. Looks to be twice the usual price.

Hoping makers of barrels, magazines, mounts etc do start catering for this unfulfilled market.

This seller makes M03 magazines from order. Maybe for .222/.223 too.

Thanks. Very good to know!

Maybe 2x 10 or 8 shot .404 magazines for serious culling work. And for a mere €800 plus! Yikes!
