Pheasant meat for food expose consumers to toxic lead
      #368695 - 26/08/22 11:41 PM

🔴 Pheasant meat sold for food is likely to expose consumers to toxic lead, even if the shotgun pellets are carefully removed, a study has found.

Lead fragments often form when lead shotgun pellets hit the bodies of gamebirds and become lodged deep within the meat.

The sky is falling….the sky is falling

Having eaten my fair share of Pheasant, Quail, Duck, and Doves in my lifetime (assume also swallowed a couple of those dreaded lead pellets) I guess I must be immune to "lead poisoning via bird"?

Potential lead injestion ills are obviously all Trumps fault…….

If it goes in one end, it'll come out the other!
Lead based paint is by far worse than what a pellet would be being so thin, more easily broken down.
Exactly what Mike said they're all 'Chicken Littles'.
I really wish the sky would fall on their heads
