So where are all you muzzleloaders out there. Hunting season is starting and it,s time to get the smell of burnt powder in the air.I hunt mostly with flinters and real black,but I do have a couple of caplocks, No inlines tho so I can't help you there.
I use calibers fron 36 to 65 and cast my own ball,make my own lubes, and cut my own patches.
Any one have any questions or things they want to discuss ,I think it's time we got started.

I exclusevly hunt local deer with my good ole T/C hawkens smoke pole. I use 777 because I can't get black. I'm going to give this to my brother an buy a lyman left hander.

The lyman is probably the best out of the box ml on the market.check out Midsouth shoting supply on the net .They have some of the best prices for lyman products. If you can't get real black you should stay with a cap lock, the replica powders don't ignite well with flinters
