Completed in December 2020, they feature a whole host of multi-coloured, gold inlaid game birds on the locks, including pheasant, black grouse, English partridge, capercaillie, guineafowl, mallard and many more, all surrounded by deep cut, English-style broad leaf scroll engravings with a stippled background. Before being housed in a bespoke oak and leather case, complimented by a full suite of accessories, including Teague chokes. Cannot wait to see the pictures.
I'm sure they are a testament to the "London Best" art form, as well as to the depth of the pocketbook of whomever commissioned them.

Are they a "True" Pair or a "Matched" Pair ??

There are essentially 3 categories of "pairs":

1)(True)Pair-2 guns made at same time by same maker to be identical in weight,dimensions
etc.Consecutive serial nos.

2)Matched pair-2 guns by same maker,constructed to be identical but made at different times...Not consecutive serial nos.

3)Composite pair-2 guns by same maker,not identical,in one case.
Then for the ultimate-triplicate or garniture:three identical guns cased together

Colour-cased & engraved locks. Very nice indeed, however I do prefer the 28 bore cased doubles.

These are beautiful guns, I would love to have one of their 32 gauges in a Rising Bite !!!!!
