I just had wicked idea. Would an inexpensive .410 Receiver be adequate to build a Double Rifle in 7mm TCU?

Why a Double Rifle in 7mm TCU?

Isn't the 7TCU a 60ksi cartridge? Would the action face be able to handle the point load. I ask because I inderstood thta tghe action face of most shotgus are fairly weak because they are not subject to figh poiny loads.

I've got a wicked idea.

Great idea to read some of the many threads on this topic first.

Also I think the first step is to specify the donor action instead of obsessing on the cartridge.

I see it is a long term project for you. Shotgun rifle conversion first raised by you in 2008.

Cheap and double rifles never go together.
