A very very rare Lancaster .500ex 3". Not mine. An english gundealer send me these photos...(teasers)

REALLY nice Martini.

That detonating compound is a good one. Could be unstable, though.
The mixture of 5 parts Potassium Chlorate, 1 part sublimed sulfur, 1 part charcoal is VERY explosive.
I suspect 1 part each, as in 50/50 sublimed sulfur/potassium chlorate would be slightly more controlled - less demonstrative.

must be a special made action to get the 3" cartridge into the chamber, irrc, the military action don't take it
