I've never observed a wolverine in the wild, either, Ripp.

On our ranch years ago the owner was using a spotlight trying to find some cattle and saw one running across the hill...so, they r here..just never see them..

Local taxidermist trapped one a few mile's from the ranch as well

I did manage to see a lynx just at sunrise one winter morning..felt very privileged for that to happen

Lynx, I've seen - bunch of them over time. Even a bobcat back in Ontario. Wolverine, no. Wolves yes indeed/y (of course, coyotes and fox as well).
Fishers, Pine Martins, Otters, Muskrats, Beavers, Raccoons, Skunks, groundhogs, Marmots of several species, prairie dogs and Belding or Richardson's and Columbia ground squirrels - all of them numerous times, but never a wolverine - only as stuffed animals.

I keep hoping one fine morning/evening while out super early riding the horse checking cattle or fence riding I will bump into one.. have pretty much seen everything else that way..
