Armstrong Peep Sight origin?

I managed to get my hands on a beautiful Armstrong Dual-Range peep sight in terrific condition. Can anyone tell me where it was made? I want to say it was made in England but I have no evidence to prove that. There's no marking on the sight with the exception of the name "Armstrong". I've done numerous searches every which way I can think of and come up empty.

Don't be surprised if Lancaster or Kuduae chime in about this one!

They are shown in the "Old Gunsights" book but doesn't say where they were made. Over the years I have had a couple of them and in fact I still may have one. Always liked how they came with the little Allen wrench stored right on the sight. Much more cool then a Lyman 48 but not worth as much as the Lyman's

The sight I still have is a regular single range sight. However the Dual range sight I had was put on a rifle I built. It was a Mark X Mauser in 416 Rigby with Blackburn bottom metal. Here are a couple pics of the rifle:
