Griz are incredible.. strength of most wild animals is amazing.. however the griz is on a different level than most..

Been to both Yellowstone National Park as well as Antelope Island in Utah, Bison are huge animals to say the least; so anyone who things they're 'smart' enough to get too close & provoke these is only asking for trouble & themselves there own worst enemy! In both places we saw people getting what we believed to be way too close, don't know if they were 'locals' or not but the American folks that we were with were calling them back in no uncertain terms - luckily none were charged!

MANY of the tourist crew have little to no ideas on the wildlife and how the National Parks system works.. People have asked friends of mine who live there what time does the park let the animals out for people to see.. OR people will write complaints because they didn't see a bear or some other species during their visit.. SO dumb that one could not make it up..

Many of these are the same people who don't understand ranching or hunting.. and wonder why you would do either when you can just go buy it at the store..

And they are the same people that are expected to make wise decisions when voting; no wonder why we end-up with Governments that we do not really deserve in the US, Canada, Western Europe and in OZ/NZ. Something has really gone wrong in our Western Democracies!

Agree with you 100%.. Common sense has left the building a very, very long time ago..

The vast majority of people live in cities, they end up so far removed from the 'real' world of where does meat or milk come from to believe it comes from a carton - they are completely disconnected from reality, very sad but unfortunately true!
