Hi 8x56mm,
its a 6.5x54 MS model 1903 build in 1929.
The hare was taken with 120 gr nosler ballistic tip
38 gr of Hodgdon Varget (2208)
Good load!
Please tell me what is a model 08?Would love to know.

Lovely rifle. I have one in 270 Win Mag which I bought a couple of years back, in excellent condition. Would love a 6.5x54 in one though and have been looking for one for a while now.

I look forward to reading about it! Its a great caliber in the right hands with killing power well beyond what one would normally expect of a 6.5mm.
