a freind asked me to make these
      #349449 - 19/01/21 06:28 PM

a freind of mine asked me to make a pair of hunting knives for him,
after some back and forth about design and so on
this is what he wanted.

Roger, please tell us about these two knives. One looks to be double sided blades.

Chestnut burl makes for very nice set of scales.

You say it's stabilized? Is that done with CA?

I know of other applications of CA to stabilize weak or soft wood.

these are stabilized with caktus juice.

they are more stable than plain wood but not as stable as the stuff stabilized with epoxy.
