Thanks

I am sorry, I was too busy and I didn’t see your greetings in time.

In fact I just looked at the march past on the Champs Elysees a couple of seconds.
I disagree with our President? Chirac. The 14th July is sort of his triumph day, so I don’t look at the march past.
This year it was unbelievable.
We use to have demonstrations of the German-French brigade. This year it was something like a circus.
Guess who march with the French troops?

The Brazilian troops. Yes Sirs, Brazilian troops.
Anybody would think of any close allies like GB, Italy, Germany, Spain or Benelux.
No Brazil. The uniforms were more or less flashy and I didn’t want to hear the music : samba?
This Brazilian boys might be good guys but concerning the army I trust other nations.

In 2 days, I’ll fly to ...............................Brazil : Rio de Janeiro and Clubmed beach so as to please to my wife and my 2 kids.
God, I hope the Brazilians aren’t reading this post.
See you in August.

Now the wife is heaping insults on me cause I didn't pack any bag.
When planning a hunt, my pack is ready 3 monts in advance and it's permanent fun to check and change it.
BTW, I don't know when we take off, when we land and such.
I am sure we'll visit Rio during 2 days. Bet I'll have my knife along.
What is good with the Clubmed, everywhere, they have a bow shooting range. Be sure my shooting glove will not stay home.
Best regards.

Oui c'est bizarre j'ai vu les photos sur Le Figaro. J'ai pense, "pour quoi le Brazil???" Mais, j'a vu mes favortes: le legion etranger, les chars de Leclerc et les Rafales!

Hi Chasseur,

Your French is excellent.

I agree the foreign legion is always offering a stunning show. A slow solemn march with the bearded sappers in front bearing an ax on the left shoulder, wearing the white kepi and the leather apron and a shaggy billy goat as mascot.

For the rest, it makes me think of the Soviet parad on the Red place, the missiles apart. The excessive show a country displays before collapsing.

You are too kind
