FS- Crimping tool for Brass Shells - Paradox / Shot

As seen in my post about my Paradox Gun,

And for those of you that shoot paradox doubles, or just want to shoot brass shells, I've made myself a unique crimping tool.

I made another PARADOX CRIMPER and I'm offering it for sale.

This little gizmo really works great!

FS - Crimping tool for Brass Paradox /Shot Shells - 28ga & 20ga & 12ga

For those of you that shoot paradox doubles, or just want to shoot brass shells, I've made myself a unique crimping tool.

I just finished a crimping tool for an 8 gauge. So now that gauge is also available.

Hello All,

I was contacted by a former customer that bought 2 of my crimping tools. He asked if I could make him a Custom 12ga Paradox "Roll-Crimper" for paper cases. I had made one before for plastic cases, but never for paper ones. I said I'd give it a try. Its different from conventional roll crimpers because it has to accomodate bullet or ball or slug.

Well, here it is. Number "2" Paradox Roll Crimper. It has an adjustable center stem to position the bullet down into the case while rolling the crimp. Its adjustable for different bullet nose shapes. I'll be making more of these upon request.

That's a COOL TOOL!~

I have one for plastic which is all I use in my Field, London Gun.
I haven't seen paper hulls locally, (Federal) for decades.
They would be nice to have, though. My old Herter's 12 bore loading press crimps paper cases perfectly.(STAR crimp)

These days there are actually more paper cases available (well "available" in theory) than just Federal. The "go green" idea is encouraging paper cases as they will eventually biodegrade. (no, do NOT ask about the brass case head)

Others?

Possibly some or all might be found in Canada. These days they are all but unobtanium here in the States.

That crimper is nice, would you have to anneal the cases after firing when you semi crimp it like that?

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I get my cases at the trap range - fee for the picking out of the barrels. I do like the once fired WW AA cases, but the blue plastic Federal hulls with solid base are also nice.
I then use my brother's tool for shortening them to 2 1/2" and the Ponsness Warren press for loading them with BP, shot and wads.

Thanks for your reply.

I just finished paradox tool number 53. Another tool for 12 gauge. I evolved into making this style after tool number 10, and have stayed with it ever since. There are slight variation from one to the other because each tool is custom made. I only have enough components left for 2 more tools, so if anyone is interested in having me build them a tool, please reply asap.

HERE'S THE LATEST UPDATE .....

Many buyers of my crimping tools use them for loading cartridges for "bore rifles" in various gauges, not only for paradox guns. Here's an example.

I also just finished a very special Paradox Crimping Tool #56 for a 40mm 20ga Bore Double Rifle. The shell is only 1-1/2" long.

here's an update ....

I've been busy making paradox crimping tools for my fellow shooters. Here's an update ..

tool number 58 for 12 gauge

tool number 59 for 12 gauge

tool number 60 for 10 gauge

and number 3 roll crimper for 12 gauge paper hulls

thanks to all that had me make them a tool ... I am glad to make more if shooters need them.
