Bore Rifle Building
      #347642 - 09/12/20 03:39 AM

I would like to say first, that I am proud to have found this site. There is indeed a wealth of knowledge, experience, and history to be absorbed. Currently, I am finishing up a S.Hawken build and already thinking of the next. English stalking bore rifles have always held my fancy but after doing a bit of research, finding a 1.125, 1.250, and 1.500 English patented breech plugs is going to be a challenge. Would anyone here have any suggestions on where to look for such?

Respectfully

Off the top on my head, I would say try The Rifle Shoppe, Track of the Wolf, and maybe Dixie. Im sure there are others

Thanks for the responses. I called The Gun Works Muzzle Loading Emporium and they do not have them. Unless you are referring to another place? the others do not as well.

Longknife, yes thanks, been following and enjoying. Bill has skills, but I wanted one with a new fangled cap locks and patented breech plugs are hard to come by bigger than 1.125.
