Question for 500Grains

On your .470 Capstick who is the barrel manufacturer and what is the twist? Pac-Nor has a 6 groove that has a 10", 16" and 38" twist. They also have an 8 groove that only comes in an 18" twist.

I noticed Krieger has barrels in 10", 14", 16" & 20" twists.

I have shot 500grains 470 Capstick, and it is very accurate with very comfortable recoil. I do not know what the bbl twist is, but the rifle shoots very good.

Joe,

My barrel is a Pac-Nor, but I do not know what twist, as I was a bit naive on the effect of twist on bullet penetration when I purchased the barrel. If building one today, I would definitely opt for a 1-10" twist. I am very satisfied with the accuracy of Pac-Nor barrels.
