A genuine Oberndorf made 404 is a rare rifle indeed. Only offered in the TypeA iirc.
The claw mounts are a detractor to many, especially in a dangerous game rifle and more so if they aren’t an original Mauser fitment.
Is it a square bridge action? If so, more likely to be done by Mauser I’d think.
Now, back to your question.
Value will depend on condition and originality. The good thing, assuming you are selling not buying, is that vintage bolt guns seem to be strong in the market right now.
Pictures would help immensely.
