I just bought a Watson Brothers Lee-Speed that needs restored in caliber 373x2 1/2". I will have the rifle in hand in about three weeks. Who are the resident experts on this site that wouldn't mind if I picked their brains as I progress with this project? Thanks. Gary

See if you can get some photos sent & post them here, the longer a post is up the greater the chance of theses guys chiming in - believe me here they will!
Best of luck with your Lee-Speed matey - are white tails on the hunting list?

Sounds like a fun rifle!
My favorite shooter right now is a 375 Express Rimless which I would think is a close comparison to your 2-1/2”

I’ve gotten over my desire to restore rifles as they lose a lot of soul in the process IMO.
Some photos will be great to see for sure.

As soon as I can learn to post pix here I will do so. THEN you will see why the restore job might be in order.

Pictures of this "diamond in the rough"? 2 weeks since last post....

I have a Wm.Evans Steyr Mannlicher in .375 2 1/2" and it is a great fun calibre. Hawk bullets will do the trick for hunting, leave the others for shooting holes in paper.
