      #346576 - 06/11/20 12:44 PM

Stopped by the local gun shop today.. Found one of these.. In lieu of the current political climate, it come home with me..Will be good home and ranch weapon..coyotes of both the 2 and 4 legged variety..

Anyone else have much experience with Benelli?? My old friend had one in 20 gauge he used for pheasants.. never seen it fail to fire, ever..over the course of 15+ years.. and he never cleaned them..

I have heard the Benelli's have the best operation system of all and the gun stays in line, during recoil.

This, of course would increase the rate of fire with accuracy.

I am not sure the pistol grip would improve this, or might hinder it by dropping the hand too far below the line of the barrel, muzzle rise advantage by pivoting on the grip.

You'll find out when shooting it, RIPP.
A good test is 5 or 6 sils. side by side at about 15 to 20yards.
Length of time to hit all.

My son has an M2 in 12 guage which he has had for about a year. He loves it. I’ve personally never had anything to do with recoil guns....but from what my son says I wouldn’t mind one. He has used his on geese, ducks, rabbits and goats with a wide variety of factory ammunition. Hasn’t jammed, functions perfectly.

Enjoy yours

Rod

Seems to me, the Benelli is the only 12 bore shotgun you can shove in a 20 bore shell and then fire a 12 bore round and no damage.
Now, I most certainly would not try this, but I did see "them" do this in a Benelli video, years ago.

The duck hunters love them [m2] cause they work so well. The tactical should be a Great one!

My son has a 20 gauge Benelli. it is utterly reliable as long as it is run wet. If the action is dry of oil, reliability suffers. It is a nice shooting shotgun.
