J. Rigby 450-400 3 1/4" BPE

Available for sale is a John Rigby 450-400 3 1/4" BPE back-action hammer rifle. The gun was made and delivered August 16th 1892, Rigby records do not state to whom.

The action has rotary Jones underlever and locks up tight remaining on face. The locks are non-rebounding and have stalking safeties. Fluid steel barrels are 26" long, and the gun weighs 8lbs 13oz.

Overall condition is great albeit restored in the UK, with great bores.

The gun was regulated by Aaron at A.M. Little Bespoke Gunmakers LLC with nitro-for-black loads consisting of 44gr IMR 4198, 3/8" foam backing rod, and .410" dia 260gr lead flat meplat. Pictures below show the results. The gun will come with many loaded rounds and brass. While at the shop Aaron also completely disassembled the rifle for inspection and commented that the condition was phenomenal and restoration is top notch.

Wow that is great work Aaron!
Wonderful to see this old lady wearing a new dress & raring to hit the town again.
I bet not only Huvius will be hitting up the bank manager up for a loan over this...........I certainly wish I was one who could be able to slap that cash down.
