WTB Remington 7-1/2 primers
      #341995 - 09/06/20 10:36 AM

I keep striking out on this one.
Actually thought I'd found some online, but every time I get through the checkout process they show up as unavailable, even where they're listing as available on the stock page.

A couple - few hundred would get me through until this "fighting the Virus with reloading supplies" event has passed.

Anyone have some of these they'd part with?

Thanks!

Wish I could help you tinker, I've a couple hundred but no way to get them to you. This, just to let you know I feel/know your pain.

I appreciate the gesture.

I'm sure I'll find something soon.
I thought I'd found some for sale on line but by the time I got through the "shopping cart" process they'd already sold out.
This is for the little 17 Remington.
Cross a finger for me.

Thanks!

That's the only place I use them. Apparently, the newer CCI450's have the same cup thickness of the 7 1/2's do now.
They were thickened in response to requests from CCI customers that they do this.

Seems to me, Calhoon has a chart showing cup thickness on primers - all of them.

Daryl I appreciate the tip on the CCI 450 primers.
I'll keep an eye out for them.

I might be able to help if we could find a way to get them from Oklahoma to Nevada

Oh, theses ones are in the new easy open easy slide sleeves. They did get picked up. Do you know how hard it is to pick up these tiny little bastards with arthritic fingers. Got most of them, still 18 little surprises waiting for the next time I roll a cannon across the shop floor.

If your looking for a thicker cup try CCI 41's that's the primer the military loads in the 5.56. I load them in just about everything I load needing a small rifle primer. I really like them, I have a small martini action barreled in the 218 Mashburn Bee, when loading a warm load regular primers will flow enough into the bolt face enough to make it difficult to drop the block. If your set on REM 7 1/2" I can probably get them for you.
