It seems that Richard Microfit Gunstocks in California makes pre-inletted stocks for older Mannlicher Schönauer. But it seems too that it´s impossible to get one in Europe. That´s a pity because my old M-S 6,5x57 needs better stock and real custom made stock costs too much for me. Does anybody here have any idea how to solve this problem ?

There is a source for Mannlicher Schönauer parts and stocks in Austria (https://shop.miedler-waffen.at/Schaft), but they're pretty expensive. I notice that he's listing at least one used stock, so there might be a chance that there are more.
You might try this outfit. I bought a M/S stock from them which is quite useable. https://schaftwerk.de/#home

A source in Australia. I doubt there would be any issues in sending you one.

The only Steyr stock I saw on Richards was for the 1903 Greek.

I think Wenig's list stock for Mannlichers Schoenauers. I think they show both long and short actions.

As pre-WW2 sporter stocks do not come often - to say the least, on the market and unless being prepared to pay an arm and a leg for a new bespoke stock, I think that the best option would be to buy at an auction an inexpensive MS1903 that would not be in good condition and to salvage it; you would end-up with a replacement stock and numerous spare parts. At first; thanks for all of you. It seems that i´ll try this Australian option. To Louis: Yours idea is good but cheap mannlicher with good stock is very scarce option. I have lurked eGun many years but without any succes.

Igor, Cameron has two patterns one for a model 1903 pre-war and the other is for post war models but I am not sure which magazine width. I have to go and see him soon myself anyway so I can measure them then. If you have any trouble communicating with him at all just let me know as he is a good friend of mine so I can give him a call.

Matt, post what you find out. Others may have need of them.
The stocks look like the half stock versions? Not stutzen stocks? Find out if he ever plans a stutzen stock?

Igor, that's good to hear. there are also no problems legally sending stocks from Australia to anywhere in the world. The only problem if there is one will be at the receivers end.
