DORLEAC on Mauser rifle building
      #321852 - 26/11/18 04:59 AM

Several members of the forum were worried about the fact that for some time I didn't publish post or photos.
The reason is simple, we are overwhelmed by work and God refuses to give me 48 hours days!
For example you can have a look at => http://forums.nitroexpress.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=321851&page=0&vc=#Post321851
In the meantime and to make you wait, here is, still in white, a somewhat special rifle, a .270W treated "Big Game" style whose making reaches the end.
The action is a beautiful commercial 98' produced at Oberndorf before the war, the barrel is drawn from a Lothar Walther match blank and the general appearance captures the details that are typical of our workmanship.
The scope, an old new in box Swarovski AV 3-10x42 is mounted on our favorite claw mount while the express sight is currently regulated at the shooting range.
Please try to be patient my friends, we have many things to show you and I hope to make you happy very soon.

Regards to all.

Joel, superb rifle once again, very classy. Deer rifles with quarter ribs often look clumsy in my opinion even when built by well known gun makers but yours looks very well balanced and properly proportioned. Lovely looking stock with nice touches. Looking forward to seeing it blued. Thanks for posting.

Matt.
