Gun 6 of 25 is a pure Rigby best gun staple, a .275 Vintage edition. Built with the same quality, style and simplicity as it was a century ago, these rifles are timeless, functional and at the beating heart of the Rigby gun bench. #RIGBY #GUNMAKERS #FITFORPURPOSE

Very nice but I would have preferred an intermediate action with thumb cut and military type two screws magazine floor plate as on the original ones.
I like very much the slightly bent bolt handle and the superb rendition of the first type bolt peep sight.
However that rifle captures the essence of the Rigby rifles of the past...

Nice = 24" bl. is VERY nice. I see your point about the thumb-cut, Joel.

Very nice reproduction indeed, the colour of the timber is superb and peep sight looks great as well.

Sure is beautifully filled. I refinished a friend's Belgium Browning '06 like that, using True Oil. 56 coats, sanding down to wood with 1,500grit wet/dry every 4 thin coats. Then 4 final thin coats and polish with rouge in oil. Beautiful - like a mirror - no the waves like WTBY puts in their epoxy finishes.
That is nicely done, as one might expect.

Jim Corbett and Bell would be pleased with it.

I like it and the wood is "right".

I love wild looking wood...……...but, to me, it just doesn't look right on these English "classics".

Paul,

You would have to get a pricing quote from Rigby. It is a bespoke rifle, from the Rigby custom gun making house.

The rifles with 'vintage' styling are not the standard modern models.

I agree.

Most certainly one fine rifle.

Ripp the short forend will make the barrel look longer than it is.

I don't think Rigby uses any of the old actions anymore, and not old military actions converted to sporters (?).

All now from Mauser, current production. As far as I know.

Yes I guessed about GBP20,000 ... so not far off your spoecific quotation. But someone and a lot of people see purchasing a new bespoke Rigby worth the price.

i would say a 350 magnum may be worth it ,,you just don't see them in circulation that often ,,and the average price for a 416 is about 30,000USD so that may also be worth it ,, but 7x57,s seem to be for sale more often ,,and top out around 12,500USD .....paul

It isn't an off the shelf rifle.

I do have a .350 coming up.
