John Rigby & Co released a number of a series of photos and some commentary on recent rifles they have made.

Some excellent rifles, mauser and rising bites. Some heavily embellished, some very vintage, a mixture. I hope the gentlemen of NE enjoy these over the next few weeks.

Gun 11 of 25 represents a historic moment for our venerable firm. In 2013, shortly after our return to London, we attempted to produce the famous Rising Bite double rifle which had not been produced at the time for 83 years. This rifle was used as the blueprint for the official relaunch of the model and the first 20 limited edition Rising Bites. This classic .470 with traditional Rigby scroll has since been used in Africa on a dangerous game safari. #RIGBY #GUNMAKER #FITFORPURPOSE

The lock plates(shape)look very H&H to me. Interesting.
