The price looks very reasonable.

this was probably a low budget sporter in the end of the 1970s made from dirt cheap surplus rifles then.
the vergueiro was not seen at what this rifle is, a high quality DWM made pre ww 1 rifle.

people still underestimate this rifle

I love my vergueiro

Looks interesting. Barrel seems to have after WWII german Ulm proof marks and rear sight doesn´t look like original factory one.

Unique, I like it. The way the forearm ends reminds me of a Mauser 98K.

This is for sale in Denmark. Seems to be quite cheap:

Looks very nice, the 21" barrels certainly look good as a stutzen.

Thanks for posting, I don't think there would be many members who wouldn't bid on that rifle if they had the money. Amazing that it is up for sale so soon after being finished, Mike Bailey bought it if I am not mistaken. He doesn't seem to post anymore and I sent him a PM a while ago to ask a question about another Mannlicher he has but I got no reply. Hope he is alright.

Bargain price as well, I bet it cost a lot more than that to build. A unique one-off rifle. Some great photos of the build that I havn't seen before.

Matt.

Who said you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear? I guess the scope has to be removed to reload?
