You will probably find that it is less expensive to fly to Aussie and hunt one or two plus feral pigs as a bonus

I've hunted with J&R in Indiantown. His wife, Liz, is a gracious hostess and the facilities/food are excellent. Joe is a capable guide. The buffalo are abundant and some are quite large. It is a pasture shoot and not the same as a hunt in wild country. The experience left me wanting more, however, and if you have the time a fair chase hunt in the wild may be more to your liking. However, there is plenty of challenge on the Florida hunt especially for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience hunting truly big game. It is a good way to break in to big game hunting. I learned some things on that Florida hunt that greatly effected my thinking and I've used that experience as a frame of reference for decisions on later hunts. I was able to see for myself how big game rifles perform on big animals. It is a great place to learn your equipment and yourself. Stuff you can't learn reading books or going to the target range and you don't learn hunting elk, moose or deer. It is a excellent first step up.

Buffalo...never hunted buffalo yet...

Northern Territory advantages...

1, the NT is one of the last true wilderness areas on earth.
2, if you go there, you won't regret it.
3, even though the goal is a buffalo, once there you really wouldn't care if you were able to shoot a buffalo or not, it is an area where you might actually forget you were hunting and would be snapping photographs the whole time.
4, in my experience Australians are some of the friendliest people on earth. It's been two years since I've been in Australia and when I speak to friends there they always ask "when are you coming home?"

Plus after a trip to NT, you'll never be bothered by flies anywhere else.

Beats hell out of La Norteņa de Cuba.

Richard.
