.375H&H is superb on pigs, I currently use a .405Win in Winchester 1895 on porkers but I mostly use a Browning BLR in .308Win. They are all good.

I used my single shot 375 h&h for my first pig hunt last year. I used 300 gr barnes X and they worked great. I got a 250 lb boar and a bonus meat hog.

Both drop instantly.

Oh, by the way they both dropped with the same shot.

The meat was not shot up at all since the bullet is only moving at a velocity of about 2300+. AND the meat was delicious.

Yes, I love my 375 and it will always be my pig rifle.
