I was looking at a 16ga double rifle at a local gunshow. It came with an extra set of shotgun barrels. Nicely engraved and very good condition. Rifle barrls are “Fluid Steel”, while the shotgun barrels are nitro proofed damascus. It is a Jones underlever gun. What can you tell me about the gun?

Sounds like a two barrel set, 16bore double rifle
Were the gun barrels 12bore?
What type of rifling in the rifle barrels?
Barrel lengths?
Was this a cased set?
Bar action or back action or island locks?
What did the sights look like? Was there a flip-up peep sight in the action tang?
Cartridge trap in the buttplate?
Set trigger(s)?
Engraving?

Did you get photos?

I'm interested in hearing more!

Being of German descent that gun really appeals to me. Well actually I'm half English too so I guess that's why the English guns appeal to me also!!! I wonder what a complete refurbish would cost for this piece? Any one here do that? I'm sure I could handle the wood refinish but the barrels and color case are out of my comfort zone....Ed
